Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Attorney to provide legal support, ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and protect the organization’s legal interests. The role involves handling legal documentation, providing legal advice, supporting dispute resolution processes, and ensuring the organization operates within established legal frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and guidance on organizational matters.
- Review, draft, and prepare legal documents, agreements, and contracts.
- Represent the organization in legal proceedings when required.
- Conduct legal research and provide recommendations on applicable laws and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support contract negotiations and monitor contractual obligations.
- Prepare legal reports, opinions, and correspondence.
- Handle legal disputes and coordinate with external legal service providers where necessary.
- Maintain proper legal records and documentation.
- Monitor legal developments and communicate changes affecting organizational operations.
- Perform additional legal and administrative duties assigned by management.
Required Qualifications:
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from a recognized higher learning institution.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant legal work experience.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of legal principles, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prepare and review legal documents with attention to detail.
