About the Role:
Are you a coffee enthusiast with a passion for creating exceptional beverages? We are seeking a skilled and creative Barista to join our client's team in Hargeisa, Somaliland! This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your talent in crafting top-quality coffee and beverages in an international setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee and tea beverages, including espressos, cappuccinos, lattes, and specialty drinks.
- Ensure consistent quality in every cup by adhering to preparation and presentation standards.
- Engage with customers, provide recommendations, and deliver excellent service to enhance their experience.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines and other equipment to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following hygiene and safety regulations.
- Assist in managing inventory, restocking supplies, and keeping track of beverage ingredients.
- Collaborate with the team to create innovative drink menus and seasonal specials.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Barista in a professional coffee Shop, Restaurant, Hotels or Café.
- Skills: Expertise in coffee preparation, latte art, and knowledge of coffee beans, blends, and brewing methods.
- Customer Service: Friendly and approachable with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to Detail: Focus on quality, presentation, and cleanliness.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to a new culture and work in an international environment.
