Job Requirement

The Cashier plays a vital role at Frezer Abey Promotional and Advertising Materials, ensuring efficient and accurate financial transactions within the Social Sciences and Community Service and Natural Sciences sectors.

This full-time position is designed for junior-level candidates with 1-3 years of experience. The Cashier will handle customer transactions, maintain financial records, and contribute to a positive customer experience. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential in this role, which supports the overall operations of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer and reconcile discrepancies at the end of shifts.
• Assist customers with inquiries related to products and services.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during transactions.
• Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and effectiveness.
• Report any issues or concerns to management promptly.
• Participate in training and development activities to enhance skills.

Required Skills

• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills with customers and team members.
• Cashier experience of more than 2 years for 4 Kilo brand shop.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail to ensure accurate transactions and recordkeeping.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to address customer concerns and operational challenges.
• Make informed decisions quickly to facilitate smooth customer interactions.
• Analyze transaction data to identify trends and improve service delivery.
• Maintain a positive attitude while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrate proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and basic financial software.
• Handle cash and electronic payments securely and responsibly.
