Lotus MCH Center is a dedicated health facility providing quality care for mothers, new-borns, and children in Addis Ababa. The Center focuses on services that support maternal, new born, and child health needs, including Gynecologist and obstetric care, Neonatal and Pediatric services, Immunization, and Emergency care working with trained professionals to ensure safe and compassionate care for families.

Job Summary

Cashier will be responsible for managing financial transactions at Lotus MCH Center in a timely, accurate, and ethical manner. This role ensures proper handling of cash, coordination with billing and accounts departments, and compliance with internal financial procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and record payments from patients and clients accurately.
• Prepare daily cash reports and reconcile receipts with billing records.
• Ensure that all cash transactions are correctly documented and deposited on schedule.
• Issue receipts and handle refunds in accordance with health center policies.
• Coordinate with the finance/accounts team for audit and reporting needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of cash and financial records.
• Assist with registration at reception
• Assist with basic administrative duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of certificate/diploma in accounting or related field preferred
• Proven experience as a cashier, finance assistant, or similar rol
• Strong numerical and record-keeping skills.
• Familiarity with basic accounting and cash handling procedures.
• Proficient in computer applications (MS Excel, billing software).

Preferred:

• Familiar with Maraki Pos cashier system
• 1 year and above experience
• Work experience with at Health care or Hotel and Tourism industry is preferred
