Chief Security Officer

Job Summary

The Chief Security Officer is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and managing the Bank's overall security operations to ensure the safety of employees, customers, assets, and facilities.The role involves developing and improving security systems, monitoring security personnel, coordinating patrol activities, overseeing outsourced security services, and ensuring compliance with the Bank's security policies and procedures.

Education

• Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Police Science from a recognized Police College.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in security management, police service, military service, or related security operations.
• Experience supervising security personnel and coordinating organizational security activities is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the Bank's security operations across all branches and facilities.
• Monitor the performance of security personnel and ensure effective security service delivery.
• Develop, recommend, and implement improved security systems, procedures, and techniques.
• Coordinate security patrols and monitor security activities to safeguard Bank assets, employees, and customers.
• Oversee and evaluate the performance of outsourced security guards and service providers.
• Conduct security risk assessments and recommend appropriate preventive measures.
• Investigate security incidents and prepare incident reports with appropriate recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with the Bank's security policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate emergency response activities and support crisis management when required.
• Prepare periodic security reports and advise management on security-related matters.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of physical security operations and security management principles.
• Knowledge of security risk assessment and incident investigation procedures.
• Understanding of surveillance systems, access control systems, and emergency response procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation.
