Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• Fluency in English and Amharic, both written and spoken
• Experience working on climate and nature policy issues, including climate finance and carbon markets
• Strong experience in relationship-building, establishing robust networks, and managing partners or stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to multitask, work flexibly, and adapt to emerging issues
• Strong understanding of Ethiopian climate and nature policies and institutional frameworks
• Excellent analytical and data analysis skills, with experience presenting information clearly using relevant IT tools
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing

Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Familiarity with programme delivery or project management
• Experience working with government institutions, NGOs, or international organizations is an added advantage
