Job Description
Role and Responsibility
- Work closely with the program team, stakeholders, and commodity staff for the smooth implementation of the AAP approach, integration of protection and gender perspective in distribution activity.
- Electronically collect complaints and feedback using available digital accountability and monitoring platforms.
- Work closely with WFP, UNHCR, RCC, and WVE GFD team to ensure all pre-distribution and post-distribution activities are carried out according to the operational SOP and minimum standards.
- Ensure that the community receiving the assistance is well communicated about entitlements and informed about safeguarding, PSEA, and AAP.
- Work closely with WV HAP, Protection, and MEAL team to ensure the collection of quality CFR data and management of data. Quality and on-time reports will be shared and used as input for adjustment and program design.
- Establish strong partnerships and work relationships with partners and stakeholders.
- Ensure the application of the do-no-harm approach in service delivery.
Educational Level Required
- BA/BSc Degree in Sociology, Social Science, Social Work, Gender Studies, Disaster Management, Rural Development, Economics & Development Studies, or any other related field of studies with a minimum of two (2) years of experience.
Experience
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in AAP, Gender, child protection, and safeguarding program design and management.
- Experience with and knowledge of AAP, AGD mainstreaming, gender integration, and protection mainstreaming in food assistance programming.
- Good knowledge of concepts, approaches, and application of gender markers, safeguarding policies, and best practices in gender integration and protection mainstreaming.
Additional Requirements
- Understanding of international protection and gender standards.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct assessments and studies, including gender audits and protection risk analyses.
- Experience with capacity strengthening and partnership building.
- Experience using MS Windows and MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), web conferencing applications, and information management systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to accountability to affected populations, and experience working with and meaningfully engaging diverse populations, including pregnant and lactating mothers, persons with disabilities, older adults, and refugees.
- Demonstrated commitment to and application of gender-responsive programming and positive action measures towards gender equality, including the participation and leadership of women.

- Willingness to work under pressure and extra hours.
- Ability to perform field assignments and willingness to travel for long periods in difficult terrain, harsh, and demanding conditions.
