We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Event Management Analyst to support the implementation and customization of Owlevents’ event management system. Based in Addis Ababa, this role will:
- Analyze client needs
- Configure system features
- Ensure seamless adoption for event organizers, venues, and vendors
The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with event industry knowledge, bridging business and technical teams to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze client requirements to customize Owlevents’ event management system for specific events (e.g., conferences, festivals).
- Configure system features (e.g., ticketing, registration, analytics) to meet client needs, working closely with the development team.
- Conduct client training and demos to ensure effective system use, per Owlevents’ quality standards.
- Monitor system performance during events to optimize user experience.
- Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing technical issues and recommending enhancements.
- Document client feedback and system configurations for continuous improvement, aligning with Owlevents’ quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to highlight successful case studies and system capabilities.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business Analysis, Event Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business analysis, software implementation, or event management.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate client needs into technical requirements.
- Proficiency in software configuration or SaaS platforms, with basic understanding of APIs and analytics.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in Amharic and English.
Preferred
- Experience with event management systems or SaaS solutions.
- Knowledge of Ethiopia’s event industry and client expectations.
- Familiarity with communication tools or project management software (e.g., Jira, Slack).
