Job Summary
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Export Manager to oversee and grow our export operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in international trade, logistics, and export documentation. Experience in coffee export is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute export strategies to maximize international sales and market expansion.
- Oversee the entire export process including documentation, shipping, customs clearance, and delivery.
- Coordinate with logistics providers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with all export regulations and quality standards.
- Negotiate contracts, freight rates, and payment terms with international buyers and service providers.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities in target export markets.
- Manage relationships with existing international clients and develop new partnerships.
- Monitor and report on export sales performance and prepare regular reports for management.
- Resolve any issues related to shipments, documentation, or payments promptly and professionally.
- Represent the company in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and meetings when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in export operations.
- Experience in coffee export is highly preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of international trade regulations, INCOTERMS, and shipping procedures.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and export management software.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
