Job Summary:
Legacy Electrical Engineering invites qualified and experienced applicants for the position of Finance Officer. The Finance Officer will be responsible for ensuring proper financial management, accurate reporting, and compliance with IFRS and the company’s financial policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Maintain complete and accurate accounting records
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
- Participate in budgeting, planning, and financial analysis activities
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulatory requirements
- Facilitate internal and external audit processes
- Ensure effective utilization of accounting and financial management systems
- Submit timely financial reports to management
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong academic background with acceptable Knowledge of IFRS and GPA,
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in finance or accounting
- Practical knowledge and experience in applying IFRS and GAAP.
- Experience in using accounting and financial software
- Good communication, analytical, and organizational skills
