Beteseb Charity Association is a nonprofit organization established in 2012 to support orphaned and highly vulnerable children, women, and youth. With over a decade of community-based service, Beteseb delivers programs in child protection, education, psychosocial support, vocational training, and women's empowerment. We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a Monitoring & Evaluation and Fundraising Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E):
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks, tools, and systems
- Collect, analyse, and report data to track program progress and impact
- Prepare Monthly, Quarterly and Annually performance reports for internal use and donors and governments.
- Ensure programs meet quality standards and deliver measurable results.
- Facilitate learning and adaptive management across programs.
- Support staff with data collection training and guidance.
Fundraising and Resource Mobilization:
- Identify and research potential funding opportunities from donors, partners, and grant-making organizations
- Write compelling concept notes, grant proposals, and donor reports
- Maintain donor databases and relationships with existing and potential supporters
- Organize fundraising events and campaigns (online and offline)
- Support the communication team with success stories, impact highlights, and promotional materials
- Collaborate with program teams to ensure alignment between proposals and field realities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Development Studies, Economics, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in M&E and/or fundraising, preferably in the NGO sector
- Strong skills in data analysis, report writing, and proposal development
- Proficiency in M&E software/tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with international donors and development partners is an advantage
- Willing to take extra commitment (Extra Hour, Weekends and Holidays)
