Job Summary
The Guest Environment Expert is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of guest rooms and public areas to create a memorable guest experience. The role involves performing a wide range of housekeeping duties, responding to guest requests, maintaining hotel standards, and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the property.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas according to hotel standards.
- Make beds, replace linens, replenish guest amenities, and prepare rooms for arriving guests.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and housekeeping service needs.
- Stock housekeeping carts with cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
- Inspect assigned areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and quality standards are consistently maintained.
- Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
- Follow company housekeeping procedures, cleaning standards, and health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of guest information and hotel property.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and other housekeeping assignments as required.
- Work collaboratively with other hotel departments to provide exceptional guest service.
- Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors to support hotel operations.
Academic Qualifications
- High School Diploma, TVET Certificate, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
Experience
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is an advantage.

Working Conditions
- Requires prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting, and other physical activities throughout the workday.
