Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of Uganda Warehouse, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Inventory Management; receiving and issuing of stocks and ensuring accurate inventory records are maintained, tracking incoming and outgoing shipments, prepare items for dispatch by assisting in loading while adhering to batch management. - 40%

• Participation in Uganda warehouse cycle counts and quarterly stock takes. - 20%

• Coordination of Uganda ABPs replenishment and timely submission of Vendor invoices to Nairobi. – 20%

• Warehouse Organization; Segregation of goods and proper housekeeping by organizing the warehouse layout for optimal space utilization and accessibility. - 10%

• Safety compliance; Follow Solenis EHS safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the Manager. Participate in Uganda Warehouse and office 6s activities. - 10%

Qualifications

Graduate degree in Supply chain management.

• At least 5 years progressive warehouse management experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with inventory management systems.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Problem solving abilities and proactive approach to tasks.

Experience in operating lifting equipment e.g. stacker or forklift (forklift certification) will be an added advantage.
