Accountant

Job Summary:

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of accounting experience and will be responsible for:

• Managing daily accounting tasks
• Ensuring accurate financial records
• Supporting the finance department in various accounting operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of all accounting records.
• Assist with tax preparation and compliance.
• Monitor and reconcile petty cash and company expenses.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in accounting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Peachtree, QuickBooks, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
