Cashier Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier/Accountant to manage and process incoming payments, including cash, credit, mobile money, and checks. The role involves accurately recording transactions, reconciling daily collections, and supporting financial reporting. The ideal candidate has strong integrity, excellent organizational skills, and experience handling various payment methods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and process payments from customers in cash, credit card, mobile money, or checks.
• Issue accurate receipts, invoices, and other relevant documents.
• Track and collect outstanding credit balances from clients and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Maintain and reconcile cash drawer and prepare daily cash reports.
• Deposit collected funds in designated bank accounts daily.
• Ensure proper documentation of all transactions in the accounting system.
• Assist with monthly closing and reporting of financial transactions.
• Coordinate with the sales and finance teams to verify collections and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor petty cash usage and replenish as needed.
• Prepare and submit reports on collections and outstanding receivables.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding payment status or receipts.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 0 year and above years of experience  (Experienced Candidates are highly preferred)
• Strong mathematical and data entry skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of credit collection procedures and financial documentation.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
