Job Summary
East African Mining Co. Plc is looking for a reliable Inventory Controller who will manage and coordinate inventory activities across store locations. The role involves working closely with external store administrators and handling full stock management responsibilities. The position requires accuracy, strong reporting skills, and the ability to maintain proper inventory documentation in line with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with partner warehouse staff to follow up on receiving and issuing reports
- Handle full inventory activities including receiving, issuing, stock arrangement, and documentation
- Maintain accurate bin cards and stock records for both locations
- Prepare monthly stock reconciliation
- Maintain updated inventory reports in Excel and support future ERP integration
- Prepare weekly and monthly inventory status reports for management
- Ensure all supporting documents are properly filed for audit and finance records
- Work closely with finance, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure accurate data flow
- Support costing and import-related stock documentation when needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, or related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in inventory control, store management, or related role
- Strong knowledge of store management
- Experience working with ERP systems is highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage different locations efficiently
- Experience with industrial or imported items is an advantage
