Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented IT Officer to join our Innovation & Technology department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure, web platforms, and hardware/software systems, while also playing a key role in supporting project-specific technological deployments. This includes configuring, testing, and maintaining IT and smart devices on construction and electro-mechanical project sites.

Key Responsibilities

1. Routine IT Operations

• Administer and maintain office IT systems including network infrastructure, servers, computers, printers, and other peripheral devices.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Ensure data security, backups, and compliance with IT policies.
• Manage user accounts, email configurations, and access controls.
• Develop and maintain the company’s website and platforms.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT purchases and services.

2. Project-Specific Responsibilities

• Configure, test, and deploy devices and systems used in field projects (e.g., IoT devices, smart sensors, tablets, surveillance systems, site monitoring tools).
• Collaborate with project engineers and site teams to ensure seamless integration of technology on-site.
• Assist in the rollout and support of project management and collaboration tools used on construction sites.
• Monitor and maintain remote connectivity to project-based systems and devices.
• Provide technical training and guidance to site personnel for deployed technologies.

3. Innovation & Digital Transformation Support

• Contribute to research and testing of new technologies applicable to construction and electromechanical workflows.
• Support in developing or customizing tools that improve efficiency, documentation, and automation of processes.
• Participate in technology pilot programs and prepare performance reports.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
• Experience in construction, engineering, or industrial environments is an added advantage.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in managing Windows and Linux systems.
• Networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, etc.).
• Familiarity with web development (WordPress, HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
• Experience with device configuration and basic scripting (Python, PowerShell or GUI) is a plus.
• Understanding of IoT or smart construction technology is a bonus.
