IT Support Officer

Job Summary

The IT Professional is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and improving the organization's information technology systems and infrastructure. The role involves providing technical support, managing IT operations, troubleshooting systems, and ensuring effective use of technology within the factory environment.

Education

• BSc/MSc Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or other related fields.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of progressive IT experience for MSc degree holders.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive IT experience for BSc degree holders.
• Prior experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Maintain and monitor IT infrastructure, systems, and equipment.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and related technologies.
• Support users with IT-related problems and ensure timely resolution.
• Assist in maintaining network connectivity and system security.
• Perform regular system maintenance and updates.
• Maintain IT documentation, inventory records, and technical reports.
• Support implementation of IT solutions to improve business and manufacturing operations.
• Ensure proper functioning of IT systems within the factory environment.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, troubleshooting, and system administration.
• Ability to install, configure, and maintain IT systems.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and data protection is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and IT support tools.
