Job Summary:
The Junior Accountant is responsible for supporting daily accounting activities, maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and assisting in financial documentation and transaction processing. The role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work effectively within the finance team.
Qualification:
- Diploma in Accounting or a related field.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or related areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Assist in preparing payment vouchers, invoices, and financial documents.
- Support bank reconciliation and cash management activities.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting audit activities.
- Handle petty cash management and expense tracking.
- Support tax documentation and compliance activities.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
