Purpose / Role Summary
Perform standard mechanical and electrical assembly tasks with minimal supervision, ensure product quality, support Junior Operators, and contribute to process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.· Verify correct part fitment, torque application, and alignment during each assembly stage.· Perform in-process and final visual inspections to detect defects and misalignments or missing parts.· Immediately report quality issues, material shortages, or equipment malfunctions to the Senior Operator or Line Leader.· Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and workstation as per 5S requirements.· Follow all safety procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).· Support continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies or recurring defects.
Qualifications / Skills
- 0 - 2 years of hands-on experience in assembly or manufacturing operations.
- Practical understanding of tools, measurement instruments, and standard quality procedures.
- Level 3/4 vocational or technical certificate in mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing-related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and a problem-solving attitude.
