Job Summary
The Junior Data Analyst is responsible for supporting data management activities through accurate data entry, document organization, data analysis, and reporting. The role ensures proper handling of office records, maintains data accuracy, supports business operations through data insights, and assists teams in making informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and maintain accurate business data and records.
- Perform data entry tasks while ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
- Manage physical and digital filing systems, document archiving, and record organization.
- Scan, digitize, and maintain electronic copies of documents.
- Support data cleaning, validation, and verification activities.
- Prepare basic reports, summaries, and data presentations as required.
- Use Microsoft Excel to organize, sort, filter, and analyze data.
- Assist with maintaining customer information and records in CRM systems.
- Coordinate with different departments to collect and update required information.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of company and customer data.
- Perform other data management and administrative tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Information Technology (IT), or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of relevant experience in data entry, document management, office filing systems, or data administration.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, sorting, filtering, and simple formulas.
- Familiarity with office equipment such as scanners and photocopiers.
- Basic knowledge or experience with CRM software is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling data.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities under tight deadlines.
- Good time management and task prioritization skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate across departments.
