Junior Local Purchaser

Job Summary

The Junior Local Purchaser is responsible for supporting local procurement activities by assisting in supplier sourcing, quotation collection, purchase documentation, and follow-up of goods and services to ensure timely availability of required materials while following company procurement procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and identifying reliable local suppliers.
• Collect and compare supplier quotations for goods and services.
• Support the preparation of purchase requests, purchase orders, and procurement documents.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of purchased items.
• Maintain supplier records and procurement documentation.
• Assist in evaluating supplier performance and maintaining good supplier relationships.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing requirements.
• Support inventory and procurement reporting activities.
• Perform other purchasing-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Academic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Procurement and Supply Management, or a related field.

Experience

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Minimum experience requirement: 0 years.
