The International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) seeks to recruit an intern in the Liaison and Protocol Unit in Addis Ababa - Ethiopia.
ILRI works to improve food and nutritional security and reduce poverty in developing countries through research for efficient, safe and sustainable use of livestock. It is the only one of 15 CGIAR research centres (https://www.cgiar.org/) dedicated entirely to animal agriculture research for the developing world. Co-hosted by Kenya and Ethiopia, it has regional or country offices in East, South and Southern Asia as well as Central, East, Southern and West Africa. www.ilri.org

About the position:
ILRI’s Liaison and Protocol Unit in Addis is embarking on a project to digitize the Unit’s legacy files and improve its data management systems. The intern will support the unit’s documentation and specifically in the creation, organization, and maintenance of various types of records, both physical and digital. This will ultimately enhance the unit’s retrieval, accessibility and compliance of documentation thereby contribute to risk reduction and operational efficiency in document handling. The intern will report to the Liaison and Protocol Manager.
