Job Overview

Under the supervision of the Head of Resources Management and the Head of SCU/Supply Chain Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in warehouse management activities in Ethiopia. This position is equivalent to G5.

Responsibilities

• Warehouse Operations: Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inspection, and storage in line with IOM standards.
• Stock Control: Maintain accurate stock control with timely GRNs, bin card updates, and monthly physical counts.
• Dispatch Planning: Prepare and implement dispatch plans, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
• Fleet Coordination: Monitor fleet operations and KPIs to ensure efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications

• Education: University Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, with three years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma with five years of relevant experience.
• Experience: Experience supporting supply chain management and logistics, with a preference for those with IOM/UN experience.
• Skills: High level of computer literacy and knowledge of ERP systems; strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Fluency: Fluency in English and Amharic is required (oral and written).
