Job Summary:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics Officer to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day logistics operations (import & export) of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
The Logistics Officer will:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor logistics operations including inbound/outbound shipments, inventory, and transportation.
- Ensure goods are delivered on time, in the right quantity, and in good condition.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements, receipts, and dispatches.
- Communicate with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics workflows.
- Prepare and update logistics reports, tracking tools, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for restocking when necessary.
- Identify and resolve logistical issues and delays proactively.
- Assist in budgeting, cost tracking, and evaluating vendor performance.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a logistics or supply chain role (1-3+ years preferred).
- Knowledge of logistics software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
