Sr. Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

Nib Candy Factory is looking for a highly skilled and proactive Industrial Maintenance Technician.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintenance & Repair:
   • Conduct regular inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of industrial equipment, including production machinery, motors, conveyors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
   • Disassemble, troubleshoot, and reassemble machinery to replace defective components and restore optimal functionality.
   • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) tasks according to a predefined schedule to proactively minimize equipment failures.
2. Electrical Systems & Installation:
   • Maintain, repair, install, and test electrical systems, including control panels, switchgear, motors, generators, and pumps.
   • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams to perform accurate repairs and new installations.
   • Ensure all electrical work complies with the national electrical code and strict company safety protocols.
3. Technical Leadership & Support:
   • Provide expert-level troubleshooting support to swiftly resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues on the production floor.
   • Serve as a technical resource, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of all production machinery to ensure peak operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Level 5 / Advanced Diploma or BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in a maintenance role within a food manufacturing environment.
• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory position (e.g., Technical Head, Maintenance Supervisor, Team Lead).

Required Technical Expertise

• Industrial Machines and Motors
• Generators and Pump Installation/Maintenance
• Hydraulic and Pneumatic Control Systems
• In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and a proven commitment to safety standards, with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in brewery factories.

Employment Type: Full-Time after the probation period.
