Manager-Datacenter Management Division

Job Summary

The Manager, Datacenter Management Division is responsible for overseeing the planning, operation, maintenance, and management of data center infrastructure. The role involves leading data center operations, ensuring availability and reliability of IT infrastructure, managing technical teams, implementing best practices, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards and service requirements.

Education

• Master’s Degree (MSc) or Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as Head of Datacenter Section; or
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience; or
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Manager with 8 years of relevant experience.

For BSc holders:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as Head of Datacenter Section; or
• Minimum of 11 years of relevant professional experience; or
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Manager with 12 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily operations of the organization's data center infrastructure.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of data center systems and services.
• Develop and implement data center operational policies, procedures, and standards.
• Lead, supervise, and support data center technical teams.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
• Oversee maintenance activities, upgrades, and capacity planning for data center facilities.
• Ensure proper implementation of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
• Coordinate with IT teams and service providers to maintain effective data center operations.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, operational procedures, and organizational requirements.
• Prepare operational reports and provide technical recommendations to management.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of data center operations, infrastructure management, and IT systems.
• Knowledge of server infrastructure, networking, storage systems, and virtualization technologies.
• Understanding of data center security, monitoring, and disaster recovery practices.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure standards and best practices.
• Ability to manage technical projects and infrastructure improvement initiatives.
