Job Summary

The Manager, Third Party System Integration & API Management is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of third-party system integrations and API services. The role ensures secure, reliable, and scalable integration between internal systems and external partners while supporting digital transformation initiatives, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and management of third-party system integrations and API platforms.
• Manage API lifecycle activities, including design, development, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with internal business units and external partners to deliver seamless system integrations.
• Ensure APIs comply with security, regulatory, and organizational standards.
• Monitor API performance, availability, and reliability, and resolve integration issues promptly.
• Develop and maintain integration architecture, documentation, and technical standards.
• Lead system integration projects from planning through implementation and support.
• Coordinate with software development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve integration processes and enhance system interoperability.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors, fintech partners, and technology providers.
• Prepare performance reports and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Lead, mentor, and support team members while ensuring achievement of departmental objectives.

Academic Qualifications

• MBA, MA, MSc, BA, or BSc in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum of seven (7) to nine (9) years of experience in banking, fintech, API management, or system integration.
• At least three (3) years of experience in a senior or leadership role.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of API management platforms and system integration technologies.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, middleware, and integration frameworks.
• Knowledge of banking systems, fintech platforms, and digital payment technologies.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, authentication protocols, and API security standards.
