About the Job
We are seeking a qualified Microbiologist to join our team at Gelan Factory. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting microbiological testing, ensuring product quality and safety, and supporting laboratory operations in compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform microbiological analysis on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration.
- Conduct environmental monitoring and contamination control activities.
- Document and report test results accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in investigations related to microbiological deviations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: BSc Degree in Biology.
- Experience: 4–7 years of relevant work experience.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and laboratory skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of microbiological techniques and safety standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
