We’re looking for a National Sales Manager (NSM) who can own and elevate a brand, crafting positioning, driving execution, and translating insight into impact.
This is not a desk job, it’s a dynamic, high-responsibility role that blends strategy, creativity, fieldwork, and data.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The National Sales Manager (NSM) will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and leading sales teams,
- Building strong client relationships,
- Coordinating with account managers, and overseeing budgets.
The candidate will identify:
- Market opportunities,
- Negotiate contracts, and
- Analyze sales performance to optimize operations and maximize profitability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of Sales/marketing experience—FMCG background strongly preferred
- Strong Business Planning and Budgeting skills
- Proven expertise in Sales and Account Management
- Experience in Team Management and leading high-performing teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- Previous experience in a managerial sales role is a plus
