Job Summary:
Procon Construction PLC is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Office Engineer to support project documentation, cost control, and technical coordination. The role focuses on bill of quantity preparation, payment follow-up, tender documentation, cost breakdown, and technical drawings.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review Bills of Quantity (BOQ) based on drawings and specifications
- Prepare payment certificates, progress reports, and cost follow-ups
- Participate in tender preparation, including quantity take-offs and bid documents
- Develop cost breakdowns and material estimates for construction projects
- Prepare and review drawings and layouts using AutoCAD
- Support project engineers with technical documentation and reporting
- Maintain accurate project records, measurements, and contractual documents
- Coordinate with site teams, consultants, and contractors as required
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, timelines, and budgets
Qualifications & Requirements:
- BSc Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience as an Office Engineer
- Strong experience in BOQ preparation, payment certification, and tender documents
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Good understanding of cost estimation and cost control
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
