Job Summary
The Pharmaceutical Warehouse Officer is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, inventory control, and distribution of imported pharmaceutical products and medical supplies. The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, proper storage conditions, accurate documentation, and effective stock management in accordance with company policies and pharmaceutical standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive imported pharmaceutical products and verify quantities, batch numbers, expiry dates, and documentation against purchase and shipping documents.
- Ensure proper storage of medicines according to manufacturer guidelines (temperature, humidity, light protection).
- Implement and maintain FEFO (First Expiry First Out) and FIFO systems.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems or manual records.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Monitor stock levels and prepare replenishment reports.
- Ensure controlled, high-value, and sensitive products are stored securely in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Prepare and issue products according to approved sales orders and distribution requests.
- Monitor and report near-expiry, expired, damaged, or non-conforming products.
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and adherence to Good Storage Practice (GSP).
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
- Support regulatory and quality assurance teams during inspections.
- Prepare periodic inventory and stock status reports for management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy (Druggist or Pharmacy Technician preferred).
- 4 or more years of experience in pharmaceutical warehouse management, medical supply storage, or pharmaceutical inventory control.
- Good knowledge of pharmaceutical storage standards and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with import documentation and batch tracking systems is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- High level of integrity and accountability.
