Job Summary

Manage, coordinate and implement the end-to-end supply chain processes and efficient and timely flow of products from raw material sourcing to customer delivery so that performance is optimized, cost is minimized, and high-level customer satisfaction is maintained through the highest possible level of personal and collective contribution to the business goals and plant operational effectiveness

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the plant's supply chain management ensuring smooth operations and coordination activities and implement plans for managing supply chain processes in line with the Corporate Supply Chain Plan
  • Coordinate and act as the focal supply chain person in the plant including for warehousing, logistics operations, and fleet management, ensuring efficient and effective utilization of resources.
  • Manage the entire physical flow of goods within the supply chain, from raw materials to finished products, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve supply chain performance, including order fulfillment, delivery accuracy, and inventory management.
  • Continuously analyze and optimize logistics operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-effective solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Monitor and manage fleet utilization, including vehicle maintenance, fuel management, and driver safety, to ensure cost-effective and reliable deliveries
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, quality assurance, and sales, to optimize supply chain processes and meet customer demands.
  • Act as the focal supply chain person in the factories, ensuring smooth operations and coordination of all supply chain activities.

Education

  • Logistics or Logistics and Supply Chain Management or Purchasing and Supplies Management or Business Administration or Accounting or Manufacturing Engineering or relevant fields.

Experience

  • Eight (8) years of hands-on progressive professional experience in handling and managing end-to-end Supply Chain and Logistics processes in an FMCG factory setting, of which Two (2) years should be on supervisory roles.
