We are looking for a Mid-Level QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality of our software products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, identifying defects, and improving software reliability. Apply here or on talent@ablazelabs.com
Key Responsibilities:
- Software Testing: Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
Programming & Scripting: Proficiency in languages like Python, Java, JavaScript, or C# for test automation.
- Bug Tracking & Test Management: Familiarity with tools like Jira, TestRail, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test plans.
- Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Identify, report, and track bugs using defect management tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.).
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback on testability.
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- Assist in performance and security testing initiatives.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2-4 years in software testing.
- Skills: Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC, test case design, and defect tracking.
- Tools: Experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG).
- Programming Knowledge: Basic proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript for automation.
- Other: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and team collaboration.
