Job Summary
Our client, a reputable organization in the health sector, is seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth front-desk operations while delivering excellent customer service in a healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and guests in a polite and professional manner
- Manage front desk operations and maintain a clean, organized reception area
- Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and inquiries, and direct them appropriately
- Register patients and assist with appointment scheduling and follow-ups
- Coordinate with medical staff and administrative departments as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and basic documentation
- Handle basic billing, payments, or receipts when required
- Ensure patient confidentiality and follow health sector protocols
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Secretarial Science, Office Administration, Business Administration, or related fields
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a receptionist or front desk officer (health sector experience is an advantage)
- Excellent communication skills in Amharic and English
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
