Job description
The Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling the company’s products, maintaining strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets to support business growth.
This role plays a key part in driving business-to-business (B2B) sales strategy and ensuring effective market reach.
Key Responsibilities
The position focuses on sales execution, customer relationship management, and market development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers on assigned routes
- Promote and sell products by identifying customer needs and offering suitable solutions
- Take and process customer orders accurately and ensure timely delivery
- Monitor stock levels at customer locations and ensure product availability and visibility
- Plan and execute daily routes efficiently to meet sales targets
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels
- Provide regular reports to management
- Gather customer feedback and market insights to improve products and services
- Provide product demonstrations and presentations to clients
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align promotional activities
- Monitor market trends, sales performance, and competitor activities
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisors
Qualifications
- College degree preferably in Marketing, Sales, or Business Management
- 2 years of proven sales experience, preferably in a similar B2B industry
- Valid driving license (Grade: DEREK 1 / Public 1)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Willingness to travel and spend 80%–90% of working time in the assigned route area
