The Role Summary:
The sales promoter is responsible for attracting new customers and improving profits, assisting with product launches and events, improving knowledge of the product range, answering questions, and addressing customer needs.
Result Areas and Responsibilities
Sales Performance & Customer Relationship
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating sales from existing and new customers.
- Achieving daily sales volume targets and submitting sales reports.
- Identifying potentially strategic outlets to maximize sales volume share.
- Building sound customer relationships with outlet owners and staff.
- Executing approved promotions.
- Communicating with consumers professionally about product benefits and features.
- Following up on product availability in all registered outlets.
- Building and maintaining customer relationships at distribution and retailer levels.
- Being proactive in opening new accounts to ensure product availability.
- Monitoring and ensuring adequate stock levels in key outlets.
- Managing the Company’s fridge and reporting repair needs on time.
Requirements
- A BA degree in any field.
- Preferably 1 year of experience in sales.
Important Note: The employment contract is not directly with Habesha. This is a junior sales position managed by a third party, serving as a talent hub that can open opportunities for bigger sales roles within our organization.
