Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly competent Senior Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance, and support accurate financial reporting within the organization. The role requires strong analytical skills, leadership ability, and deep knowledge of accounting standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and control ledger accounts.
- Prepare tax computations and support tax filing processes.
- Monitor budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation.
- Supervise junior accounting staff and review their work for accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
- Prepare periodic financial and management reports for decision-making.
Job Requirements
- BA Degree in Accounting & Finance or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with accounting software such as Peachtree, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
