We are a leading manufacturer and supplier of premium furniture and construction materials, including kitchen cabinetry, bathroom solutions, doors, and architectural finishes. Our designs blend innovation, functionality, and aesthetics to redefine spaces.
Role Overview:
We seek a Senior Product Designer with a strong foundation in Industrial Design, Architecture, or Engineering, coupled with advanced design training. You will lead the creation of cutting-edge furniture and material solutions, ensuring they meet technical, commercial, and aesthetic standards. Prior experience in the furniture industry is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Concept to Production:
- Design and develop furniture, cabinetry, and architectural products from ideation to prototyping.
- Collaborate with engineers and manufacturers to ensure feasibility, cost-efficiency, and compliance.
- Technical Design Leadership:
- Create detailed CAD models, technical drawings (2D/3D), and material specifications (using tools like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, or SketchUp).
- Apply knowledge of materials (wood, metals, ceramics) and manufacturing processes.
- Market-Driven Innovation:
- Research trends in furniture, interiors, and construction to align designs with client needs.
- Refine existing product lines based on user feedback and sales data.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with sales/marketing teams to create compelling visuals (renderings, brochures).
- Mentor junior designers and oversee design QA.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Degree in Industrial Design, Architecture, Engineering, or related field + additional design courses (e.g., CAD, Furniture Design).
- Experience: 3–5 years in product design; furniture industry experience preferred.
- Technical Expertise:
- Mastery of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Fusion 360) and rendering tools (Enscape, V-Ray, Keyshot).
- Knowledge of materials (wood, laminates, metals) and manufacturing techniques (CNC, joinery).
- Portfolio Must-Haves:
- Showcase furniture, cabinetry, or architectural product designs.
- Demonstrate problem-solving (e.g., space optimization, ergonomics).
