We are seeking motivated graduates with strong analytical skills and a passion for problem-solving to join our 3-month Trainee Analyst Program. This program provides hands-on experience in consulting and advisory work, exposure to high-impact projects, and professional mentorship. High-performing trainees will transition to a Junior Analyst position upon successful completion of the program.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, acquire, and validate data from documents, databases, field interviews, and other sources.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to generate actionable insights.
- Support strategy development and prepare analytical briefs, meeting minutes, and policy summaries.
- Contribute to visual presentations, dashboards, and infographics to communicate findings effectively.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders through interviews, calls, and meetings.
- Present analysis and recommendations to ACE leadership.
- Assist with operational initiatives, research assignments, and business development activities.
- Support knowledge management and documentation for ongoing and completed projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher with CGPA 3.0+ in the fields of Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Health, or related disciplines.
- 0-1 year of work experience in a relevant field, including internships or project-based work.
- Keen eye for visualization and design, with the ability to create compelling, well-structured visuals, layouts, and graphics, from data dashboards to full design assets, that effectively communicate ideas and insights.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Amharic and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); proficiency in other analytical tools will be an advantage.
- Demonstrated leadership and decision-making abilities through professional or extracurricular activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing priorities.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous and changing situations.
- Willingness and aspiration for continuous learning and development.
