Main tasks
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and Safe Work Permit procedures.
- Operate and monitor utility plants (boiler, WWTP, chemical dosing systems) efficiently, safely, and economically.
- Monitor parameters, gauges, chemical, oil, and water levels; record hourly readings and prepare daily reports.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, cleaning, and annual maintenance programs.
- Maintain quality standards in WWTP operations in coordination with QA and SHE teams; report and act on deviations.
- Ensure availability and proper use of chemicals, materials, and spare parts as per specifications.
- Maintain housekeeping, 5S standards, and sustainable practices for water, energy, and waste management.
- Support emergency callouts, shift work (24/7 operation), and perform other duties as assigned.
Master, we are looking for?
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing industry with a background from the malting, brewing or similar related industry is preferred.
- The role requires a blend of technical knowledge, safety consciousness, excellent troubleshooting & problem-solving skills, attention to details and strong interpersonal qualities.
- Fluent in Amharic and English.
