Duties and Responsibilities
- Take complete ownership & responsibility for stock receipt & shipment in & out of the warehouse;
- Manage inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities, cycle counts, stock takes, and audit of the same to verify results;
- Continuously monitor the performance and activities of the warehouse, with a primary focus on cost controls.
- Train and monitor staff in standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safe work practices, including new employee inductions and toolbox talks;
- Maintain documentation and keep accurate records of warehouse activities.
- Maintain awareness and knowledge of the condition and location of fleet vehicles;
- Comply with Environment, Health & Safety procedures & practices in accordance with company policy;
- Liaise with drivers, customer service, and warehouse personnel for efficient and productive material flow;
- Supervise, discipline, and motivate all staff under direct or indirect control;
- Assess compliance risk & ensure adequate control mechanisms are in place for minimizing/ managing risks.

Minimum Educational Requirement
MA/BA degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
Experience
8 years of experience in warehouse operations, of which 4 years in a supervisory role.
