Job Summary
The Workshop Manager is responsible for overseeing all activities within the ATM Maintenance Workshop, ensuring defective ATM components and modules are repaired, refurbished, and tested efficiently.
The role includes managing engineers, technicians, and spare parts coordination to maintain high-quality repair standards, minimize downtime, and support overall ATM network performance.
The position also ensures compliance with safety, quality, and documentation standards.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The role focuses on technical management, team leadership, and operational efficiency.
- Apply strong technical knowledge of ATM hardware and software systems, diagnostics, and module repair
- Lead and supervise technical teams to ensure effective performance
- Diagnose complex mechanical and electronic faults and implement solutions
- Plan and manage multiple repair workflows to meet deadlines
- Ensure adherence to OEM standards and maintain repair quality
- Coordinate reporting and communication across departments
- Maintain awareness and compliance with electrical and occupational safety protocols
Education
- B.Sc. Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
- Master’s Degree (MIS or M.Sc. in Engineering Management)
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in ATM or electronic equipment repair and maintenance
- Minimum 8 years of experience in ATM or electronic equipment repair and maintenance
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial position leading workshop teams
Certifications (Preferred)
- Training in Quality Management or Lean Maintenance practices is an advantage
