Job Description 

An exciting vacant position has arisen at East Africa Bottling Share Company - Ethiopia for the role of Channel and Trade Marketing Manager. East Africa Bottling Share Company ( EABSC) works with the world?s most cherished trademark; invests in the most sophisticated production system in the world and employs people who are prepared to work with passion and focus.

The position is structured to report to the Country's Commercial Director

Key Duties & Responsibilities 

Revenue & Growth

  • Leads market, category and portfolio segmentation to define growth opportunities
  • Leads the development of brand, pack, price and promotional strategies that maximize revenue and impact across categories and channels.
  • Ensures all strategies and activities are consistent with brand positioning
  • Develops resourcing plans which anticipate the organizational requirements to implement a category portfolio strategy

Insights & Knowledge

  • Collaborates and aligns with CCBA to develop OBPPC
  • Leads and establishes category vision and drivers.
  • Leads the development of channel strategies.
  • Leads the development of segmented proposals to deliver transformational change to customers and consumers

Channel Marketing

  • Develop and execute Channel & Trade Marketing Plans in the country.
  • Deliver superior brand activation, shopper and channel strategies and plans.
  • Generate promotional execution strategies to support sales and maximize revenue growth
  • Communicate brand activation plans to channel regional and national key account sales teams to ensure superior in-store execution

Skills, Experience & Education 

  • First Degree in Marketing Management/ Management/ Economics/ Business Administration or related field of studies with a minimum of 7 years relevant work experience in sales and marketing of which 3 years in a managerial position.
