Job Purpose:
Handles and follows up cases of employment, transfer, promotion, and terminations; processes leaves; ensures that employee's terms and conditions of employment are respected; keeps personnel files and records.
Main responsibilities:
- Under the supervision of Leaf P&C Manager, handles and follows up cases of employment of Permanent, temporary, or daily employees, termination of service, promotion, and transfer and also identifies vacant posts to be filled in the LOC.
- Posts vacant positions in the LOC; registers applicants & ensures that candidates for the particular vacant positions meet the requirements in advance;
- Fulfills all requirements and formalities of transfer or employment according to the guidelines before concluding transfer, promotion, or employment;
- Ensures that employee terms and conditions of employment are respected by all employees under the labor law, guidelines of the Enterprise, and collective labor agreement;
- Processes requests for annual leave, sick leave, maternity leave, and other leaves according to the labor law and guidelines of the Enterprise; verifies and files supporting documents and also prepares lists and statistics of employees concerning age, experience, education, positions, and other details; keeps the records properly for any future reference needs;
- Follows up and ensures that all entitled employees get pension identification numbers and are retired when their age reaches the time of retirement according to pension proclamation; processes pension formalities accordingly;
- Manages various tasks and projects as they arise and upon the manager’s request.
Who are we looking for?
Education:
- BA Degree or College Diploma in Management or Public Administration
Work Experience:
- 2 years of experience with a BA Degree
- 4 years of experience with a College Diploma
- Experience in Personnel Administration
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in Intermediate English (both oral and written)
- Competent in using MS Office applications
- Familiarity with Collective Labor Agreements, Internal Regulations, and company safety policies
