Job Description
An exciting vacant position has arisen at East Africa Bottling Share Company - Ethiopia for the role of Accountant- Control Payable and Equity. The position is structured to report to the Financial Accounting Manager.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Regularly follow up on past-due balances from both local and foreign vendors
- Closely collaborate with the accounts payable and treasury section to make sure that Foreign transactions are up-to-date.
- Managing all intercompany-related activities (creating Purchase Requisisions, processing monthly recharges, making sure all Interco payments are made on schedule, etc.)
- Issuing Statement of Accounts to intercompany partners and getting confirmation
- Intercompany Month End Group Reporting.
- Prepare a monthly GL reconciliation for AP accounts.
- Using Power BI to generate RACM-related reports
- Clear the general ledger on time for all accounts payable, with the exception of trade payable accounts.
- Run foreign currency revalution for Vendors
- Perform any additional tasks that your immediate supervisor assigns you.
Skills, Experience & Education
- First Degree in Accounting/Accounting and finance with a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
