Job Summary
East Africa Bottling S.C., the exclusive bottler of Coca-Cola products in Ethiopia and a proud member of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, is excited to invite dynamic, detail-oriented, and results-driven professionals to apply for the position of Business Analyst – Finance.
As a Business Analyst – Finance, you will be a key strategic partner in driving business performance through data-driven insights and financial analysis. Reporting directly to the Country Lead – Finance Supply Chain,

The Business Analyst – Finance plays a pivotal role in driving financial excellence and strategic decision-making across East Africa Bottling S.C. The role is responsible for analyzing financial data, optimizing finance systems, and delivering accurate, insightful reports that support business performance and growth. By leading process automation, ensuring compliance, and supporting finance-related projects, the position contributes to improved efficiency, cost optimization, and long-term organizational sustainability.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to provide actionable insights that support strategic and operational decisions.
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards for management review.
- Process Optimization & Automation:
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline financial processes for improved efficiency and accuracy.
- Support system upgrades, integrations, and digital transformation initiatives within the finance function.
- Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist in developing and monitoring annual budgets and rolling forecasts in alignment with business objectives.
- Provide variance analysis and recommendations to improve cost control and resource allocation.
- Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure adherence to company financial policies, internal controls, and external regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate financial documentation and analysis.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, and Commercial teams to align financial strategies with business priorities.
- Support business cases, investment proposals, and project evaluations through financial modeling and analysis.
- Continuous Improvement & Performance Management:
- Drive efficiency initiatives to enhance financial accuracy and reporting timeliness.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and capability development within the finance team.
Qualification
- First Degree in Accounting and Finance or related fields
- Minimum of 5 years experience in financial analysis, reporting, or finance systems management, preferably within a complex or fast-paced environment.
Additional Experience Required
- Proven experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting within a fast-paced business environment.
- Strong background in data management, process improvement, and system optimization (preferably within SAP or similar ERP systems).
- Demonstrated experience in automating financial processes and implementing digital finance solutions.
- Solid understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting principles.
- Experience supporting cross-functional projects and driving performance through data-driven insights.
- Exposure to the manufacturing or FMCG industry will be an added advantage.
