Role Overview
A Chief Security manages the security team, policies, systems, and procedures that keep Guests, Team Members, and others safe while on and around the hotel property.
Key Responsibilities
As a Chief Security, you are responsible for:
- Overseeing all security-related matters in the hotel
- Advising Hotel Management on all security-related issues
- Leading the Security Team and developing Team Members
- Reviewing all policies, systems, and procedures regularly
- Driving continual improvement and enhancements to security standards
- Communicating effectively with external agencies including police and fire authorities
Qualifications
To successfully fill this role, you should possess:
- A Degree/Diploma in Police Science or related fields with five or more years of experience in managerial positions
- Previous security experience, preferably in an industry monitoring large volumes of people movement
- Experience leading and managing a Security/law enforcement team
- In-depth knowledge of security-related systems, practices, legislation, and technologies
- Excellent interpersonal skills and personal presentation
