Role Overview

A Chief Security manages the security team, policies, systems, and procedures that keep Guests, Team Members, and others safe while on and around the hotel property.

Key Responsibilities

As a Chief Security, you are responsible for:

• Overseeing all security-related matters in the hotel
• Advising Hotel Management on all security-related issues
• Leading the Security Team and developing Team Members
• Reviewing all policies, systems, and procedures regularly
• Driving continual improvement and enhancements to security standards
• Communicating effectively with external agencies including police and fire authorities

Qualifications

To successfully fill this role, you should possess:

• A Degree/Diploma in Police Science or related fields with five or more years of experience in managerial positions
• Previous security experience, preferably in an industry monitoring large volumes of people movement
• Experience leading and managing a Security/law enforcement team
• In-depth knowledge of security-related systems, practices, legislation, and technologies
• Excellent interpersonal skills and personal presentation
