Lanniu Plywood Manufacturing PLC, a premier provider of top-quality plywood products, is expanding its team and looking for skilled Chinese Translators to join our main factory. This position is essential for facilitating effective communication between our Chinese-speaking staff and local employees, ensuring smooth operations in a bilingual workplace.

Position Summary

As a Chinese Translator, you will play a vital role in bridging language and cultural gaps within our organization. You will be responsible for:

• Translating both written and spoken communications
• Supporting technical documentation
• Assisting in cross-cultural interactions to maintain operational efficiency

Main Duties

• Translate verbal exchanges between Chinese-speaking personnel and local staff
• Provide technical translation for manufacturing processes, safety instructions, and operational paperwork
• Support meetings and discussions between Chinese management and local teams, ensuring clear and accurate communication
• Guarantee that all translations are precise, culturally sensitive, and preserve the original intent
• Translate training resources, reports, and documents related to manufacturing operations
• Act as a liaison to overcome language barriers and facilitate daily workflow
• Uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism

Candidate Profile

• Proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and English
• Previous experience in translation or interpretation, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Familiarity with technical vocabulary in both languages
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with diverse teams
• Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Flexible, adaptable, and willing to work in a remote location

Work Environment

• Position based in Bu-I Town, Gurage Zone, approximately 100 km from Addis Ababa
