Role Summary
Through its collaboration with the Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC), ACE Advisors seeks to hire a DevOps Engineer to support the EIC Automation System Project, developed in collaboration with the Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute. The project is in its final stages, requiring an expert to streamline deployment processes, optimize infrastructure, and implement DevOps best practices.
The selected candidate will play a key role in automation, tracking system development, and ensuring efficient CI/CD workflows.
About Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC)
The Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC) is an autonomous federal institution, established under Proclamation No. 1180/2020, with the mandate to promote and facilitate both foreign and domestic investment in Ethiopia. It provides a range of promotional services, investor support, and aftercare. The Commission operates under the direct oversight of the Ethiopian Investment Board (EIB), which is chaired by the Prime Minister.

Required Qualifications
- Educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- At least 8 years (for Bachelor’s) or 6 years (for Master’s) of professional experience in DevOps engineering or related roles.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in:
- DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
- CI/CD pipeline automation and deployment strategies.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management.
- Monitoring, security, and optimization best practices.
Desired Skills
- Technical Expertise: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Documentation & Presentation Skills: Proficiency in preparing technical documents (Word & PowerPoint) and excellent presentation capability.
- Team Building Skills: Strong team player with outstanding collaboration and multi-disciplinary teamwork skills.
- Communication Skills: Fluent in English and Amharic, both verbal and written.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to build and manage relationships, including navigating complex political environments and working with senior management.
